Software Developer

Software developer responsible for the development and maintenance of software applications focused on sales and business customer relationships. This involved designing, developing, testing and debugging software applications; researching new technologies to improve existing applications; writing and maintaining code; documenting application changes; working with other developers and across departments to create effective solutions; troubleshooting issues that arise during development or after deployment; and providing support to users.

Responsible for teaching students the basics of computer programming and helping them develop essential skills in critical thinking and problem-solving. This involved breaking down complex concepts into manageable chunks so that students could understand and apply them with confidence. I adapted my teaching methods to meet the needs of unique learners and provided individualized mentoring and holistic support to students in need. I met with students in need weekly to discuss their goals, help them overcome any obstacles, and provide encouragement. I also connected them with resources on campus and in the community that could help them succeed.

Data Analyst

February - October 2020

As a data analyst, I analyzed the Dow Jones index and SNP 500 using Regression with Time Fixed Effects and Entity Fixed Effects to better understand how these two important stock indexes have been performing. I found that the Dow Jones index has been steadily increasing since early 2016, while the SNP 500 has been more volatile but overall trending upwards. This analysis helped investors make informed decisions about where to invest their money.
