Academia? Bring it on!

BOSOM FRIENDS Q&A

Q: What is a Bosom Friend?

A: Jacob deeply values intellectual dialogue and conceptual interchange. The Bosom Friends Program (BFP) is set up to facilitate such interactions.

Q: Why are you offering these benefits?

A: Bona fide academic discussions appeals profoundly to Jacob. However, people are often limited in their intellectual pursuits by their access to resources, the time they can devote, and their awareness of time-saving practices. Every benefit offered at part of the BFP seeks to address one or more of these issues. For example, access to online library resources offers access and opportunity for independent scholarship, PPT templates and study resources help people accomplish time-consuming and tedious tasks so they can devote more time to scholarly work, and online courses expands opportunity for erudition.

Q: Can I utilize these benefits for personal use?

A: Absolutely! In the spirit of furthering academia and save time, you may use these benefits for any appropriate incidental personal use as long as you enroll in the Bosom Friends Program.

Q: Do I qualify?

A: If you are directed to this page by a post from Jacob, chances are that you do. You are selected to become a Bosom Friend because of demonstrated intellectual capacity, potential to engage in thought-provoking discussions, and openness to deliberations. Even if you don't agree with the evaluation, you may take advantage of the program as long as you meet eligibility requirements. If you just happen to wander to this site, please know that the program is highly selective. No more than three people are currently invited to participate in this program, and they each have outstanding academia alongside one other special talent. Typically, invitees receive 1500+ on SATs (or the ACT equivalent), are conspicuously well-rounded, and exceedingly articulate.

Q: How do I apply?

A: There is no application process for this program. If you are invited, you may simply choose to accept the offer. If you are not invited, there is nothing you can do to apply. However, you are strongly encouraged to pursue and develop your own academic profile. You may wish to consider a different program here. Feel free to reach out to jacob.wu@email.com with additional queries and comments.

Q: What happens after I accept the offer?

A: You will have access to the benefits for as long as they are available. Changes in availability can only be induced by external factors, such as copyright complaints, discontinued services, or changes in contents offered. You can never be denied access to any of the benefits based on the perspectives you espouse in intellectual discussions, perceived changes in your level of intellectual rigor, or changes in your personal qualities. However, please note that there will be an expectation to engage in frequent, contemplative intellectual discussions with Jacob. While the depth of your arguments is important, eligibility to this program is more concerned with your willingness and effort to engage in such dialogues.
